How It Works

Whether you are writing in Chinese professionally or just learning the language, you often need your text to be absolutely perfect, so that your message is communicated clearly and even a native speaker wouldn't spot any issues.

Paste your text in our Chinese Grammar Checker and a native speaker will quickly identify all grammatical mistakes, inappropriatenesses, bad wordings, and controversial expressions.

Checks usually take a few minutes to 1 hour, depending on the size and complexity of the text. We love overworking to make our customers happy, so you'll probably be able to get quick results even outside of the business hours. In any case, we promise to process all requests submitted outside of the business hours first thing in the morning.

Our business hours:

Hong Kong UTC+08 London UTC+00 New York UTC-04
10 AM - 10 PM 02 AM - 02 PM 10 PM - 10 AM

What Kinds of Texts Do You Accept?

You can submit any text in Chinese. You can even add comments in English where you think they will help us better understand the context and meaning of your writing. In fact, we encourage you to do so.

We will only charge you for the Chinese characters. All non-Chinese characters and spaces will be ignored when calculating the total, so feel free to make your comments in English as verbose as you see fit.

Note: If your text contains too few characters the order total will be rounded up to the minimum chargeable amount.

Use Cases

We don't impose any restrictions on how the Chinese Grammar Checker can be used. We believe that it is most useful for the following categories of people:

Self-learners

One of the greatest challenges you can face if you're learning a foreign language on your own is lack of feedback. You don't have a teacher that can point out your mistakes and give suggestions to improve your text.

Our tool makes quick human feedback accessible to self-learners of any level from beginner to advanced.

Professionals

If you use Chinese in your career or business impeccable writing will always help you stand out from competitors.

Eliminate mistakes  from any form of professional writing, such as:

  • CV
  • Business offer
  • Letter
  • Website contents

Writers

Sometimes even professional writers have difficulty putting ideas into words.

You're experiencing writer's block? Or just want to be absolutely sure that no error crept into your text? Run your masterpiece through our Chinese Grammar Checker and bring your writing to perfection.

Issues Identified by the Chinese Grammar Checker

It is not only grammar that the Chinese Grammar Checker checks for. We will look for, identify and tell you about the following issues in your Chinese text:

  • Syntax errors
  • Register (e. g., some words can only be used in formal context, others are inappropriate slang, etc.)
  • Unidiomatic expressions
  • Homophone-related errors (e. g.,  工夫 vs 功夫)
  • Punctuation
  • Inconsistent use of traditional/simplified characters

Basically, if your text contains any issues we will spot them.

我的名字是约翰。 我来自德克萨斯州。 我一直对外语着迷,但到目前为止我只会说流利的英语。 我去年开始学习中文,因为他们说中文是世界上最难的语言之一,我喜欢挑战。 我想我已经可以维持一个简单的对话,但我知道在我能说自己流利之前还有很多东西要学。
